PERSONAL NOTE: THIS IS CERTAINLY AN INCREDIBLE STORY…that Sola Aoi, a former porn star in Japan, is now pregnant with a baby! Some of my college students in China introduced her to me and shared many of her great performances with men in bed and elsewhere! Yes, I did not know enough Chinese to learn to download many porn movies in China…but my students were keen to educate me about sex sex sex in China. What shocked me was a few of them actually told me they were watching porn movies since they were very young…watching the DVDs when parents were gone working! I could not believe my ears when they told me about their very early experiences watching graphic sexual acts at home. Later, in their teenage years, though most high school dormitories do not allow them to have computers, some of them would go to internet cafes to watch the porn movies, though it is against law for these businesses to allow kids to watch them. They told me so. Anyway, I understand more and more young people in USA are also watching porn movies these days! But I still believe there are more free porn movies to watch in China, not here in America! Who knows! Any way I am happy for Sola Aoi to have a baby soon. In USA, female porn stars have this to say about their porn careers: it is like any job, so I go to work as a porn star, I return home to take care of my husband and children. It is just a job! Yes, I have read this, heard this pretty often in America…it is just a job! Hm! steve, usa, december 19, 2018   stephenehling@hotmail.com  blog – https://getting2knowyou-china.com

Japan’s netizens have flocked to the defence former adult movie actress Sola Aoi who announced her pregnancy on social media, prompting some to accuse her of selfishness as the child will be bullied because of Aoi’s previous career.
Sola Aoi took to Instagram to reveal she will be having a baby in May with her husband, the DJ Non, but clearly felt obliged in her blog to fend off criticisms she has faced both before and after the announcement.
Aoi, who starred in her first adult movie at the age of 18 in 2002, has received messages saying what a pity it will be for her children to live with her past. One poster on her blog commented on her “poor children” while another sent her a message saying she should not have a baby as the poster’s own mother had worked in the sex industry and that had caused her to have an unhappy childhood.
Now 35, Aoi stated in a recent post to her blog: “If you think the children of AV [adult video] actresses will definitely be bullied in the future, then that is more of a reflection of your core values.
“Of course it’s better not to do AV, but if you do AV it does not mean that you are unhappy,” she wrote. “My desire to have a child is the same as anyone else’s. Good relationships between parents and a child are not necessarily based on a parent’s profession. They are based on the child’s environment.”

Reiterating that her family had always supported her decisions, Aoi added that her parents were happy when she told them she was getting married and she is looking forward to giving them a grandchild.
Most of the commenters appeared to support Aoi’s actions. On the SoraNews24 site, one poster wrote: “Good on her – and if the kid gets bullied, well it just goes to show you how the parents of those kids are.”
John Tan wrote: “Bravo. Those making a big deal out of her being in AV should re-evaluate their own lives. She is not harming anyone, which is a great deal better than all those fraudsters, murderers, rapists and robbers out there.”
On the Japan Today forum, one poster wrote: “AV actress, religious virgin – we’re all human beings, all with the same rights. People who think they have grounds to criticise someone else for wanting to be a parent are the ones deserving of criticism.”
That sentiment was echoed in the message: “Good for her! Glad to see she doesn’t let the opinions of others guide her.” Another added, “Can you imagine how better life was before hatred saturated theinternet? Good on her and she’s a far better human being than her detractors. Wishing her the very best.”

Calligraphy by Japanese porn star Sola Aoi has sparked controversy in China, where she has a huge fan base, with purists dismissing her work as “unskilled” after it was reportedly auctioned for US$95,000.
Eight Chinese characters the actress wrote with brush and ink at a theme park in the eastern city of Ningbo were sold earlier this month, the Liberation Daily newspaper, which is backed by Shanghai’s Communist Party branch, said yesterday.
“The style of calligraphy is childish, unskilled,” it added.
SolaAoi, 29, is best known for her work in adult movies, with some of her less risqué titles including Virgin Sky and Cosmic Girl. Despite China’s official censorship of films, pornography is widely available on pirate DVDs.
She has recently moved into mainstream films, appearing in one 2010 movie as a zombie-killing stripper, and her blog has nearly 14 million followers. Her fans jumped to her defence.
“‘Teacher Aoi’ excels in both performing skills and moral integrity. This price is certainly worth it,” Duoyan Sanwei said in a microblog posting.
But many dismissed the auction as amarketingploy by the theme park that sponsored her trip in April.
Dressed demurely in a pink and white dress, the 1.55 metre tall actress was surrounded by mainly male fans on her visit, when she wrote, “Fun Phoenix Mountain Theme Park”
